Proceeds from the raffle will be split between Lighthouse of SWFL and United Way. Tickets can be purchased on-line at unitedwaylee.org/events/red-sox-raffle. The winning ticket will be drawn at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, March 1 and the winner notified.
This Ultimate Red Sox Spring Training experience is thanks to a generous in-kind donation from Ocean Breeze Heating & Cooling, Inc.
Additionally, both Lighthouse of SWFL and United Way will be represented in the concourse during the game collecting new socks that will be donated to the Lee County Homeless Coalition. Fans are asked to bring a new pair of socks to the game to donate.
“This is an amazing opportunity for fans of Red Sox nation to have a once-in-a-lifetime chance to be on the field during batting practice and throw out the first pitch at a spring training game at Fenway South,” said Jeannine Joy, President and CEO of United Way. “Nothing could be better than enjoying this experience while supporting Lighthouse of SWFL and United Way!”
“We are so grateful for this incredible opportunity to raise funds for our not-for-profit organization,” said Dotty St. Amand, Lighthouse of SWFL CEO. “Our low vision and blind children and adults depend on us every day to provide an array of vision rehabilitation and support services to help them achieve independence. On behalf of our clients, board, and staff, thank you to Ocean Breeze for this fantastic fundraising event.”
